Event on Boulevard 14/32 will bring Microsoft and Cisco executives to discuss the positive impacts of technology

10 January 2020

What impact do people expect from Technology for the next few years? And what actions can lead us to the impact we hope to make? That's what Teltec Impact, an event that will take place on January 16, at 9 am, on Boulevard 14/32 of the Floripa Airport, want to address.

The purpose of the event is to bring up discussions on the use of technological innovations for the common good, in addition to discussing the roles that individuals and technology players can seek for digital transformation to be effective and help humanity to achieve positive potential, as a more diverse, just and inclusive society.

To talk about the subject and bring initiatives from two of the largest technology companies in the world, Teltec Impact will bring Pryscila Laham, Vice President of Channels and Sales for Small and Medium Enterprises at Microsoft Brazil, who will speak about the use of Artificial Intelligence ( AI) and what role professionals, companies, governments and citizens have and will have for technology to be used with the purpose of strengthening society and bringing unimaginable solutions to old problems.

Complementing the discussion, Larissa Di Pietro, Head of Marketing at Cisco do Brasil, will address, among other aspects, the human connections that can be made through technology, bringing people together and showing that technology has already transformed and is transforming the world, but the human aspect will remain essential in any setting.

The event, which will take place from 9 am to 11:30 am, will also feature the performance of the band Cores de Aidê, composed entirely of women and exploring the percussive universe from the Afro-Brazilian influence.

Maximum human capacity

Taking the theme of the event, and in partnership with the Floripa Airport, the company will bring a Porsche Cup 14 race car to the new airport’s Boulevard 32/2020, driven by driver André Gaidzinski, from Santa Catarina who returned to the tracks after a long hiatus and who signed a sponsorship partnership with Teltec Solutions, creator of the event in December 2019.

“We want, through the first Teltec Impact, to show the good examples of technology and how it can generate a positive impact for everyone. Technological innovations need to be at the service of society, aiming for a better future. Also knowing that these innovations must exist to increase human capacity, we also brought André and a racing car to demonstrate what technology, combined with human knowledge, is capable of achieving in terms of efficiency”, explains Diego Brites, General Director from Teltec Solutions.
