Florianópolis International Airport left the last position and became the second best airport in Brazil, according to the Passenger Satisfaction Survey, released by the National Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SAC) of the Ministry of Infrastructure this Thursday (6) . The overall passenger satisfaction score for the airport of the capital of Santa Catarina is 4,78, referring to October, November and December 2019, on a scale that goes from 1 to 5.

The new Florianópolis Airport, opened in October of last year, had the highest percentage evolution, compared to the same quarter of the previous year: +22,5% in the perception of improvement. It jumped from last place (grade 3,90), in 2018, to obtain the best average grade in the category up to 5 million passengers per year: 4,78. Florianópolis airport achieved the highest score among the 20 airports surveyed in questions such as: the best free wi-fi, better cleaning and quality of bathrooms, greater thermal and acoustic comfort and better cost-benefit ratio of snack bars and restaurants.
