Skip-the-line service, with 100% digital scheduling and access to a series of Detran services in a strategic point in Florianópolis. As of this Wednesday, the 23rd, those who live in the Capital, especially in the South of the Island, will be able to count on these facilities in the new unit of the Regional Traffic Circumscription (Ciretran) that will be inaugurated in Floripa Airport. The new service point is another step forward in the process of modernizing the Detran in Santa Catarina, bringing more efficiency in the provision of services to citizens.

"Airports, by nature, are service centers, with good access and prepared for a high flow of people. Items such as easy parking, options for food, safe and camera-controlled environment, 24/7 operation make airports spaces with a differentiated standard of infrastructure and comfort for users”, observes Ricardo Gesse, CEO of Florianópolis Airport. 

Through the partnership with Floripa Airport, the State will not have any type of cost with rent and use of space. The service will be from Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 18 pm, and Detran users will still have a 50% discount on parking for the first 4 hours. 

"When we join forces, the result arrives faster and better. The partnership that unites the public and private sectors has the greatest benefit of the user who needs DETRAN services. We are closer to the citizen with a large, modern, more accessible space that still allows you to enjoy the entire airport service area", says the director of the State Traffic Department (DETRAN/SC), Sandra Mara Pereira.

Services available on site

In the new unit, there will be five counters to attend the Eligibility, Vehicles and Penalties services, and another express service counter for the removal of documents. Among the services available at the Ciretran Sul da Ilha service point are CNH Renewal; Definitive Driver's License; 2nd copy of CNH and PID (international). 

100% digital appointments can be made through the Digital Portal on the Detran website or through the Detran Digital app, available on Android and iOS systems.
