As of this week, Florianópolis International Airport will have a regular international route again. The flights between the capital of Santa Catarina and Buenos Aires, Argentina, are confirmed and will be operated by Gol Linhas Aéreas.

The direct connection between Santa Catarina and Argentina had been resumed by Gol as a seasonal flight in December 2021, with 2 weekly frequencies. But given the success of the route, flights will be maintained throughout the year. It will be 3x a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Before the start of the pandemic, Gol regularly operated the flight Floripa – Buenos Aires. But the route was interrupted due to the health crisis. 

With this resumption and in the case of regular routes, Florianópolis International Airport now recovers all the destinations it operated before the pandemic and still adds 2 new ones. Currently, there are 10 domestic routes and 1 international: Brasília, Confins-Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, Guarulhos, Congonhas, Viracopos, Curitiba (new), Foz do Iguaçu (new), Porto Alegre and Chapecó, in addition to Buenos Aires.
