One of the most beloved sports in Florianópolis gains an exclusive space at Florianópolis International Airport. A Beach Tennis arena, with an official court, will be installed on Boulevard 14/32, a covered square for leisure, services and shopping in front of the new terminal.

From November 21st, those who love the sport will be able to use the court for free, and it will be possible to play matches following the most relaxed tradition of the sport: the racket rotation. Just get to 14/32 Boulevard, put your racket in line and wait for your turn to play.

The arena will be at the airport for about 3 months and will host a wide range of activities, such as beginners' classes with professional instructors and demonstration games with sports icons. There will also be physical preparation workshops, launch of personalized rackets and other sports accessories.

The court has official dimensions, 18m long by 10m wide, and it will be possible to play recreational games in singles or doubles. The beach tennis arena at the airport will be open daily from 8 am to 22 pm. The project is sponsored by Mormaii, Ommar Aloha and Surf Land Brasil.

health protocols

Boulevard 14/32 is an open-air square, and the Floripa Airport reinforces that all health protocols to prevent coronavirus will be followed. Only games with up to 4 people will be allowed; the use of a mask is mandatory inside the court; it is recommended to wash hands and play equipment before and after use; and the minimum distance of 1,5m is mandatory.

The structure

Boulevard 14/32 has a complete structure with different options for gastronomy, shops and services such as a bank, supermarket and even a barbershop. 

The parking lot has 2.580 spaces and costs R$15 for up to 4 hours.
